Concert Etudes

First published in the early 1970's and now fully revised and edited, this collaboration of 18 solo etudes between composer Nathan Kaplan and solo artist/editor Lawrence Sobol prepares students for many of the challenges they will encounter in contemporary music performance. Helpful commentaries precede each piece in the set. Recordings were made in 1970 by Lawrence Sobol at the Jimi Hendrix's Electric Lady Studios under the composer's supervision and have been remastered in MP3 formats.
